Hey everyone!
It’s been a while. I used to send one of these out every Monday at 9:00AMEST, and then decided to pivot to sending them out specifically whenever I felt like I had something to share (and when I felt like writing). Anyway, that method put me in a position where I’ve had a ton of things that I wanted to share with you all, but … just didn’t. Still figuring out the correct cadence and process that works for me, and I am getting very close. One thing I realized that I want to absolutely explore is the ability to include my voice in these newsletters. Sometimes I can either type some things out and then include something for you to click on the bottom which will be a recording of me reading what I wrote (to be more accessible). Sometimes (and what excites me even more), I may have things to share that I just feel speaking about and not writing. In that case I can create a new newsletter, perhaps type one short line and then insert audio of me just talking to you guys. Very excited about how this will allow me to more easily share stuff with my audience. Plus I have access to some incredible microphones so my voice will be extra crispy. Each and every person who takes some time out of their day to read and either be entertained, informed, etc. by what I share is super important to me. What motivates me the most is making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Okay, so today I want to share with you all that a very very special episode of Khordmaster Keys just dropped. It features Natalie Kaye Clater who is a cast member of Ms. Rachel’s Songs for Littles. I had a chance to introduce Kayla to her at the very beginning and it was just an incredible conversation. I encourage you to check it out when you have a chance. We touched on how she got her role with Ms. Rachel and what it's like being seen in the homes of millions on a daily basis, her current musical (Rock and Roll Man), the role social media plays in her life, favorite movie/tv show, and you won't want to miss her thoughts on who she would like to have dinner/brunch with if she could choose anyone!
You can watch the episode here.
Few other thangs:
Knicks are still alive! Let’s see what happens Friday…
My wife and I just celebrated our 6 year anny (THANK YOU) and our little family went away for 2 nights to celebrate. It was awesome spending a few days with just us 3.
I have revisited making music with the OP-Z by teenage engineering. It is something that I have not used in a very long time, but lately before bed I would sit on my comfortable chair and just create. It’s been incredible.
Dating back to my time at Verizon, every 3 years I would feel the itch to make a change. Most of the time that change would be a different role in the company. Eventually after 12 years it culminated in me leaving the company altogether and becoming a math teacher. 3 more years (well 2, due to the pandemic) I made another change. Now, it’s been about 3 years as a content creator and solopreneur and it is time for another pivot. I know what I want to do, just a matter of figuring out how to get there, which I will. Stay tuned!
Black Mirror, and Eric Andre show are returning next month which I am ecstatic about.
Lastly, ZELDA TEARS OF THE KINGDOM DROPS TOMORROW.
Talk soon. Real soon. This felt great typing out.
Oh here are some pics from the anniversary weekend:
